Bot Builder Workflows

Create and manage Workflow v1 bots, quick replies, forms, and automated flows

Reading time: 2 minutes

Bot Builder Workflows

Bot Builder (Workflow v1) lets you design automated conversation flows, quick replies, forms, and related automation assets from one hub.

What you can do

  • Open the Bot Builder / Workflows area from the sidebar
  • Create and edit workflow canvases
  • Configure quick replies and forms used in automation
  • Connect knowledge / flow assets exposed in the Workflow v1 UI
  • Publish or activate flows for your workspace (as available in your plan)

Open Bot Builder

  1. Sign in to your workspace
  2. From the sidebar, open Bot Builder (or Workflows / auto replies)
  3. Choose the tab you need (workflows, quick replies, forms, etc.)

Create a workflow

  1. Click Create / New workflow
  2. Give the flow a clear name
  3. Add steps on the canvas (messages, conditions, actions — depending on available nodes)
  4. Connect steps in the order customers should experience
  5. Save, then activate / publish when ready

Test flows on a staging number or with a small audience before activating for all customers.

Quick replies and forms

From the same Bot Builder hub you can typically:

  1. Open Quick replies to manage short automated responses
  2. Open Forms to collect structured customer input
  3. Link those assets into a workflow where the UI allows it

Tips

  • Keep flow names aligned with business intent (support hours, welcome, abandoned cart, etc.)
  • Document who owns each live flow
  • Combine automation with templates when outbound WhatsApp template rules apply
